The Young 'Uns - Heritage Work

The Young 'Uns Visit DF4

DF4 have been busy learning about the story of St Neot - the monk who gave St Neots its name, when his bones were stolen from the small village of St Neot in Cornwall. He was brought to the Priory in town - and from this, our school got its name.
They were really interested in the town's story and the significance of the name 'Priory' in the town. Using their learning, they worked with the award-winning folk group, The Young 'Uns, to create a song about St Neot - you can hear this below. We think its rather good!
The work is part of a larger project called 'When Cambridgeshire Sings' which brings schools around the county together, in exploring their own heritage.
