Helping Your Child Learn

Many parents often ask how they can best help their child with their learning. While your child is at Priory Junior School, your child will receive a home-school book, which they will bring home each day/week.

The home-school book is a place to practise spellings, and also contains details of how to access learning sites that the school uses. Reading is recorded on Boom Reader - and all children have access to this. The home-school book also contains guidance on the methods of calculation your child will learn, along with lots of other useful information. There is a section at the back for notes of communication to your child's teacher.
