Helping Your Child Learn
Many parents often ask how they can best help their child with their learning. While your child is at Priory Junior School, your child will receive a log book and a learning log, which they will bring home each day/week.
The log book is a reading record and a place to practise spellings. It also contains guidance on the methods of calculation your child will learn, along with lots of other useful information. There is a section at the back for notes of communication to your child's teacher.
The learning log contains open-ended ideas for homework activities. Please see our Homework Policy for further information - on the Policies page.
Many families have expressed how much they enjoy working on these with their child.
