Parents Do Day

21st March 2017
On Tuesday, 21st March, we held our Parents Do Day for the term. The focus was exploring maths in art, and parents and children worked together to discover ways of using their maths to create interesting artistic pieces. These ranged from creating tessellating patterns in the style of Escher to exploring how interlocking circles can create new shapes. Year 5 explored the creation of spiral patterns using their tables knowledge, which led to some interesting patterns.
