Christmas Celebrations

14th December 2016
We ended the term with several Christmas celebrations!

We all enjoyed a Christmas lunch together - the teachers served us at our tables; it was great fun.

We performed our Christmas plays - this year, the plays had the theme of a 'Timeless Christmas' and we shared plays linked to this idea - that over time, Christmas celebrations have changed, including how Christmas was celebrated during the time of World War. We enjoyed singing traditional Christmas songs too.

Then, we invited parents to join us for a coffee morning where each year group performed a carol with them.

Finally, for our last assembly, we held a Christingle. We sang carols, lit our candles and listened to our narrators who reminded us of the nativity story and the meaning of Christingles.
